Born with innate supernatural power, Saiki Kusuo seems to have his life easy. He possess various ESP ability including telepathy and psychokinesis among others allowing him to get anything he wants. During kindergarten, he incidentally caught media attention after rumors of how he never loses any janken match against his friends and teacher spread around town. The incident made him came to the resolve of not using his power in front of others ever again so people will not find out that he is a psychic. But upon being a high school sophomore, with all hi-jinks that ensue, Kusuo is slowly cutting his resolve loose.
Plot
Saiki Kusuo, an otherwise normal teenager, has various super-powers, telepathy and telekinesis included. This should have been cool, but through experience, Saiki comes to realize that having powers while trying to lead an ordinary life is a bad mix.
The series began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on May 14, 2012. The first collected tankōbon volume was published on September 4, 2012.[1]
On August 4, 2013 this manga got a flash anime adaptation.
Kusuo Saiki appears as a playable character in the Jump crossover fighting game J-Stars Victory Vs.[3] Its European and North American release marks the first release of Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan material outside Japan.
A television anime adaptation was announced in the Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine's 23rd issue of 2016. J.C. Staff and EGG FIRM are producing the adaptation, with Hiroaki Sakurai directing, Michiko Yokote handling series composition and Masayuki Onji designing the characters.[4] It is scheduled to begin airing on July 4, 2016 on TV Tokyo, TV Aichi and TV Osaka.[5]
