Long Summary[]

In her room, Kokomi is troubled at the recent accident with Kusuo in the movie theater. She did not expect to run into Kusuo and believes that he misunderstood her relationship with Toru Mugami. She knows if it was anyone else, she would not have to explain, but with Toru they seem like they suit each other. She knows if she tried to explain herself right now, it would be weird and the act of explaining would make it seem like she has feelings for him. Deep into her thoughts, someone goes behind her and hugs her. She scolds him for surprising her and not knocking. He tells her that he did knock but she did not respond to it. He goes on to question her as to what she is thinking about. Kokomi tells him, her brother, that it was all his fault that she is like this. Makoto Teruhashi, known as Toru Mugami, is confused by her statement.

Meanwhile, at the Saiki household, Kurumi is watching TV, Kuniharu is arriving from work and Kusuo is reading. Kurumi is overjoyed to see Toru and Kuniharu question who he is. She talks about him, being pretty popular, and Kuniharu nervously questions her if she prefers Toru or himself. Kurumi tells Kuniharu obviously him and compares Toru as a fly. Kuniharu is happy and tells her that he believes other girls are feces compared to her. The two are happy and then lean in slowly to kiss each other. The doorbell rings but they kiss anyways. Once they stop they finally hear it and Kuniharu is annoyed at them for interrupting the mood. Kurumi goes to open the door to see their guest. Kuniharu and Kusuo then hear Kurumi screaming, surprising Kuniharu. He runs towards the door, worried, and Kurumi explains it is the fly. It is Toru, asking if this is the home where Kusuo lives.Kuniharu stares at him, looks behind him to see the tv and yells as well. Kurumi continues to scream and Kusuo tells them to shut up or they will disturb the neighbors. They ask Toru why Kusuo and if he knows him. Kusuo explains he does not know Toru well but he knew he was coming. He does not want to talk to Toru but it is better in this setting than in public.

Toru is invited into the home, is given tea and politely thanks Kurumi. Kurumi and Kuniharu are starstruck at the actor, with Kurumi repeating what Toru says. Toru tells them he is sorry for his sudden visit and will leave when he is done with what he was going to do. Kurumi tells him she is a fan and watches his shows and Kuniharu, lying, agrees with her. Toru thanked them. Kurumi asks him if he can say a catchphrase from one show and Toru obliges with her request. She is happy and Kuniharu is once again nervous like earlier, asks her who she loves more between the two. She giggles and he screams at her just giggling.

Toru calls out to Kusuo. He tells him if he remembers them running into each other at the movie theater and he wanted to talk about that. He explains that he saw both him and Kokomi together and that perhaps he has misunderstood something about them. Toru admits that he and Kokomi are siblings and often get mistaken as a couple. Kurumi and Kuniharu are surprised that they are siblings and Kusuo is not since he already knew. Kusuo explains he figured it out when he removed the ring and he does not want to be involved with them. Toru explains his name is a stage name, his real name is Makoto Teruhashi. The parents believe the name fits him well. Makoto tells them that Kokomi is worried about Kusuo misunderstanding the situation so that is why he came to explain. Kuniharu and Kurumi tease Kusuo, saying they wonder why she would be worried. Kusuo tells them to not have any ideas. Kurumi sees the time and says she needs to start dinner. She asks Makoto if he wants to join them and he happily agrees. Kurumi heads to the kitchen and Kuniharu joins her, saying he wants to help.

Makoto smiles, telling Kusuo that his parents are nice and he has one more thing to say. He explains that this is from him personally, not his sister, but he does want him to go near Kokomi and he is garbage. Kusuo is surprised. Makoto tells him he does not know their relationship but he should know his place in the world and calls him all sorts of rude names. Kusuo says he knew Makoto’s true personality but admits he is surprised that he would tell him out loud these things and it feels painful. Makoto uses a terrible analogy and asks Kusuo if he thought he had a chance with her. Makoto starts to imagine Kusuo nervous around Kokomi and how Kusuo would think she would actually like him, which Kusuo denies his accusations. He stops the imagination by telling him to stop dreaming and just die. Kusuo tells him he is wrong and believes Makoto is just like Kokomi, with a dramatic imagination. Makoto continues, saying he does blame Kusuo for his thinking since Kokomi is beautiful and uses another terrible analogy. Makoto over exaggerates Kokomi’s beauty and Kusuo is annoyed at his possible sister complex.

Makoto then expresses his deep forbidden love towards his sister and it suddenly gets quiet. Kusuo, shocked, asks him what he is talking about. Makoto tells him to think about it, he has won awards, widely praised and a star, compared to him he is the one who suits her best. Kusuo tells him suitability is not the problem. Makoto goes further to say they are simply classmates who know each other for about a year or two but he has been by Kokomi’s side since she was borned. Kusuo tells him that it is obvious since he is her brother. Makoto exclaims he is going to be the one to marry his sister and Kusuo figures out Makoto definitely has a sexual desire for her. Makoto goes on about never handing his sister over and how he loves her. Kusuo is disgusted by how no one has checked him out and that he has surpassed his sister complex far too much. He also expresses how terrifying Kokomi is since she made her own brother this way. Makoto repeats himself by telling Kusuo to not get near her and to basically die. Kusuo is annoyed since he never approached Kokomi. Kurumi, in the kitchen, then asks Makoto if he is okay with bell peppers and he tells her that he is fine with them. Kusuo then says Makoto overstayed his welcome and needs to leave and the doorbell rings.

Kurumi opens the door and welcomes the new guest. The person runs towards them, and Kusuo tells Makoto that someone came to pick him up. Makoto is surprised to find Kokomi in the home. She asks her brother why he is at the home. Makoto also asks her why she is here and she tells him that is what she wants to know. Kusuo explains he called Kokomi with his telepathy but to Kokomi it was a sense of foreboding. He brought her here so she can take Makoto away from the home. Kokomi repeats herself, Makoto panics since he can not tell her the truth. Makoto explains that he knew that she was worried about Kusuo misunderstanding them. She is confused since she did not tell him about it and he tells her he knows what she is thinking and explained everything to Kusuo. Kokomi is, at first, relieved since the misunderstanding is cleared. She then suddenly realizes that Makoto told Kusuo that she was worried about him.Makoto tells her that he does not like her to worry and Kokomi yells at him. Angry, she tells Makoto that he did not need to do that and that she hates him. Makoto feels his world shatter with her saying that she hates him. Running away and crying, she yells at him that she will never speak to him again. Makoto, on his knees and in shock, tells her to not leave. The front food slams and Makoto says offu. Kusuo, annoyed, says to not leave Makoto at the home.
